Thank You for the Children

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you today for the gift of children. What a miracle it is each time you bring a new life into the world. Help all people to value life as a precious gift from you. Be with the parents and grandparents who are raising children today. Grant them wisdom and give them patience. Help all adults to be an example of Christ's love for children to follow.

Be with us as we begin our weekend. For those of us who are working, give us the energy to do the work you have given us to do. For those of us who have the freedom of a couple of days off, help us to use our free time to glorify you. May we always remember that all we are comes from you, and all we have belongs to you.

Keep us forever in your loving care.

We ask in the name of Jesus our Savior and brother, in the name of God the Father our Creator and in the name of the Holy Spirit who gives us faith.
